Stint for Android: block distractions and track real focus
The same challenge as on iPhone, built for Android. Stint blocks the apps you pick while a session runs and counts only the time you spend in your work apps. Members on Android and iPhone can share a pool.

An overlay that blocks what you choose
Stint blocks apps with an Android accessibility service. When you open an app you chose to block during a session, Stint covers it with a block screen. Apps you did not choose are left alone, and nothing is blocked outside a session.
Focus tracking that runs in the background
While a session runs, a foreground service measures which app is in front from Android’s usage events and adds up time in your work apps. An ongoing notification shows the timer and your pool’s line for today.
Your phone reports each minute to Stint’s server, so your result is checked rather than self-reported. Stint receives no app names from Android, only the time counted and time spent on the block screen.
Link a computer
Install Stint on your Mac or Windows PC, or add the browser extension, then scan its QR code from Settings, Connected devices. Work on the computer counts toward the same session. See all downloads.
When it’s available
Stint for Android is coming to Google Play. Until the listing is live, the button above reads Coming soon. Stint for iPhone is available now.
