Stint for Windows: focus and site blocking from the system tray
Stint for Windows counts the time you spend in your work apps, blocks the apps and sites you chose, and keeps your session one click away in the tray. For Windows 10 (22H2) and Windows 11.

The tray flyout
Click the Stint icon in the tray, or press Ctrl-Alt-S, and a flyout opens with your session, your pools and your devices. Start a session in one click, see the time left, and check how today is going against your pool’s goal.
Windows notifications cover presence checks, the end of a session, and the last minutes before today’s goal closes.
Site blocking in any browser
Sites you add are blocked in whichever browser you use while a session runs. Add the Stint extension to Chrome, Edge, Brave or Arc and time on your work sites counts as focus too.
Apps you chose to block are covered by a block screen during a session. Setup suggests the usual distractions it finds on your PC, checked so you can see them, and you can uncheck any. Nothing you didn’t choose is blocked.
Only real work counts
- Time adds up only in your work apps, and only while you are active at the PC.
- Stint counts key presses and pointer movements, never which keys you pressed or what you typed.
- Window titles, full web addresses, page content and screenshots never leave your PC.
- Occasional presence checks ask you to click a button or type a short code.
Link it to your phone
The app shows a QR code. Scan it from Settings, Connected devices in Stint on your phone, and your PC counts toward the same session as your iPhone or Android phone. See all downloads.
