1. Acceptance of Terms

By joining the waitlist, creating an account, or using Stint, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. What Stint Is

Stint is a skill-based productivity challenge. Members of a pool each pay an entry fee into a shared prize pool, commit to a focus goal, and everyone who qualifies splits the prize pool at the end of the challenge.

Stint is not a game of chance. Outcomes are determined by your own effort and whether you meet the challenge goal — not by luck.

3. Eligibility

You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction and able to form a binding contract to use Stint. Real-money challenges may be unavailable or offered as a points-based alternative in regions where required by law.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe are involved in fraud or abuse.

5. Entry Fees and Prize Pools

To join a pool you pay the entry fee set for that pool. Entry fees are pooled into the prize pool for that challenge. A platform cut, set when the pool is created, is taken from the prize pool at settlement.

Members who qualify by meeting the challenge goal split the remaining prize pool equally. Members who do not qualify forfeit their share. You are never charged any amount beyond your entry fee for failing to meet a goal.

6. Qualifying and Focus Verification

Focus time accrues only while you are working inside the apps you selected for the challenge, measured through Apple Screen Time and Family Controls. Opening an off-plan app ends the session. To qualify, you must meet the challenge goal under these rules.

We rely on device signals to verify focus. Attempting to circumvent verification — through tampering, automation, or other means — is a violation of these terms and may result in disqualification and account termination.

7. Payouts

When a pool settles, qualifying members are paid their share to their account. Payouts are processed through third-party payment providers and may be subject to their processing times and requirements.

8. Refunds

Once a challenge has started, entry fees are committed to the prize pool and are generally non-refundable. If a pool is cancelled before it starts, entry fees are returned.

9. Acceptable Use

Do not use Stint for any unlawful purpose, interfere with the service, attempt to manipulate challenge outcomes, or harass other members in pool chats. We may remove content and restrict access to keep the community safe.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Stint is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stint and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by email, and continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
